A New Beginning

Northern France July 1944. With the Allied armies fighting their way across Normandy, wrongly accused of betraying her fellow resistance fighters to the Gestapo, a young French woman is rescued by a British soldier. Fearing for her safety, and disillusioned with the war the pair decide to begin a new life together. But while they search for a new future, the past is not about to let them escape its clutches and while hope beckons with one hand, retribution reaches out with the other.
