Shot in the Dark

A poor young mother struggles to survive as a con artist, but wants to get out of the life for the sake of her daughter. She plans one last big heist of an armored car with a recently paroled ex-con, but their scheme goes awry when her former drug addict boyfriend escapes prison and abducts the child. Fans of Gillian Flynn's "Gone Girl," will find a protagonist who keeps them guessing as the pages turn in this novel.
