The Hacker Who Became No One

What is the price of life? How many evil acts does it cost to lose one’s right to live? These questions plague Axel Hoffmann, a hacker under extortion of a digitized overseer known as Little Eye. Together they track the Cyber Conflict Control Unit (C3U), an organization suspected of killing innocents.  Tasked with improving societal cohesion, C3U moves like a shadow through the city. They dispose of terrorists and stimulate national pride. But internal complications snip at the seams. What happens when your identity—name, birthday, and history—is a lie? What happens to the value of another’s life when yours no longer exists?
