What happens when they tell us it is too late to stop climate change? This prequel and its novel, The Dying Party (launch March 1st), shows us the psychological impact of such an announcement, and just how bad it can get if we don't act soon. . It is the 2040s, and Lizzie and Donnie are among the last surviving residents in a complex built into the side of Gros Morne mountain in the 2030s, now the only piece of habitable land above water in all of what was once eastern Canada.
