Moments into the future, magic dances at the intersection of virtual and real… Getz Parker is in the information business, but when a young boy asks for help, he enters a world in which life and death are as hard to tell apart as magic and technology. Even his artificially intelligent companion is stumped by a series of attacks without explanation.
