Something sinister lurks in the shadows of Austin, TX. Agent Tony Mendoza’s superiors say it’s a vampire, and opt to let the local coven handle it. Despite their orders, Mendoza can’t leave well enough alone. As the case progresses, the trail of corpses leads the agent to believe it's no run-of-the-mill vamp.
