Life is a challenge for Silas Morningstar. The Constable is threatening to arrest him, he’s been kicked out of his favorite tavern, his coin purse is empty, and his stomach will soon be the same. But everything changes when a chance encounter with a magically gifted child brings with it the promise of wealth beyond his imagining.
